Revenue + operational analytics
started because the team I coached needed a better way to schedule lessons.
After my competitive swimming career culminated at the University of Notre Dame, I came home and started coaching my summer swim team. With more than 140 families, I saw how difficult it was to schedule private lessons with the tools available. Nothing felt simple or mobile-friendly. Because I knew how to code, I decided to build the tool I wished we had.

I built the first version for the team I was coaching.
Families needed an easier way to book lessons from their phones, and coaches needed something simple to manage. I started coding Swum to solve that exact problem for our team, then kept improving it around how people actually used it.
- 01Competitive swimmer
My swimming career culminated at the University of Notre Dame.
- 02Back to coaching
I returned to coach my summer team, which served more than 140 families.
- 03I saw the problem
The lesson scheduling options were clunky, desktop-first, and difficult for families to use.
- 04I built Swum
I coded a simpler, mobile-friendly tool for our team. That first version eventually grew into a multi-platform product for swim schools.
One enterprise layer for every swim school location.
Swum Enterprise gives large swim lesson organizations local control at each school and a global operating view across the full network. Each location can manage its own instructors, classes, calendars, and families while leadership sees analytics, reporting, and integrations in one place.

Run every school under one enterprise account while preserving local calendars, capacity, pricing, and rules.
Each location can manage multiple instructors, assignments, availability, classes, families, and day-to-day scheduling.
View performance across any school, region, location, instructor, class type, revenue stream, or enrollment segment.
Scope imports, exports, reporting feeds, and custom integrations around the systems your organization already uses.
Local control for each school. Global visibility for leadership.
Each location can manage its own instructors, classes, calendars, families, and payments. Enterprise teams can compare analytics across any school, region, instructor, revenue stream, enrollment segment, or custom reporting layer.

Schedules, instructors, classes, services, capacity, families, and payments can stay tied to the correct school.
Compare revenue, enrollment, utilization, booking trends, location requests, and transactions across the organization.
Filter from a single school to a regional view to a full enterprise summary without exporting spreadsheets.
Custom feeds can support finance, BI, CRM, migration, internal dashboards, or other enterprise systems.
Pick the location model that fits the size of the rollout.
Swum Enterprise can support a simple multi-location school setup, but larger organizations usually need each location treated as its own school under a company layer. That structure supports bigger footprints, cleaner permissions, and company-level analytics.
Best for smaller operators where one school manages a few pools or partner sites. It keeps setup simple, but does not unlock the full company analytics layer.
Simple regional structureRecommended for enterprise. Each location has its own school account while leadership gets global analytics, location comparisons, and custom API/reporting feeds.
Recommended for GoldfishCreate classes in bulk, then roll them forward.
Swum can turn one class setup into a full day, a custom date range, or the next seasonal schedule. Teams can bulk-create timeslots, preserve the structure that already works, and roll 500+ classes from summer to fall without rebuilding everything by hand.

Create one class pattern and instantly build every matching timeslot across the day.
Generate classes across a custom date window, day pattern, instructor setup, or location calendar.
Move high-volume schedules into the next session instead of rebuilding each class manually.
Carry summer structures into fall, then review dates, capacity, instructors, and publish timing.
Control the network from the organization down to each instructor.
Leadership gets a master range view across the full company, each facility manages its own schedule and controls, and company admins can enter any location school view to make changes directly when needed.
Leadership can view the full breakdown across every facility and drill into any location school view to adjust schedules, settings, reporting, or controls.
Each facility manages its own operating hours, calendars, capacity, booking rules, classes, instructors, and day-to-day schedule changes.
Instructors can focus on the classes, private lessons, swimmers, attendance, and progress notes assigned to them.
Custom API integrations for any system.
Built per organization or per facility. Connect Swum to Xavier, finance, BI, CRM, waiver platforms, data warehouses, or internal tools through APIs, webhooks, imports, exports, and custom feeds.

Detailed analytics across lessons, locations, and revenue.
Swum gives enterprise teams a detailed analytics layer for lesson activity, location performance, instructor utilization, enrollment, revenue, payments, and operational trends across the organization.

Track lesson volume, attendance, completion, cancellation patterns, swimmer progress, and session activity.
Compare school-level enrollment, capacity, utilization, demand, payments, and growth across the network.
View transactions, payouts, product mix, recurring plans, packages, and payment performance by location.
Understand instructor schedules, classes taught, private lessons, utilization, and operational load.
Typical enterprise pricing starts at $500 per location.
Custom pricing can be negotiated around location count, commitment, rollout timeline, support needs, migration, and API scope.

Three control layers. One connected admin experience.
Goldfish can preserve the right level of control for the franchisor, multi-unit owner/operators, and location managers and staff. Each role gets the view and actions it needs without breaking the shared operating model.
A shared enterprise system can preserve global standards while keeping portfolio and local execution clear.
Set brand standards, shared policies, reporting definitions, integrations, and enterprise guardrails across the network.
See performance across owned locations, compare schools, and enter the right location context when action is needed.
Run programs, rosters, instructors, families, payments, communication, and service for one school.
Keep every role on the same underlying customer, enrollment, program, and performance data with role-aware access.
Every Goldfish program can book the way it needs to.
Perpetual lessons remain the core model, while clinics, parties, free swims, and special events each need their own policies and workflows. Swum can customize the booking path for every program without forcing families or staff into separate systems.
Each program can carry the policies, payment rules, capacity, eligibility, and follow-up it actually needs.
Recurring enrollment, level placement, capacity, makeups, billing, and ongoing family communication.
Date-based registration, prerequisites, limited capacity, one-time payment, and skill-specific follow-up.
Packages, deposits, guest details, waivers, add-ons, reminders, and final balances in one event workflow.
Member eligibility, household limits, capacity, check-in, and location-specific policies without manual workarounds.
Family intent peaks after the front desk closes.
Across 6,800+ real parent checkouts on Swum, 7 PM is the number-one booking hour and 47% of bookings happen outside 9–5. The opportunity is to shorten the path from interest to booked and paid—without requiring a phone call or in-person handoff.
A low-friction digital path protects the moment when a family is ready to act.
Parent intent is strongest after work, dinner, and the hours when most front desks have closed.
Nearly half of bookings happen outside traditional business hours.
A meaningful share of families are ready to act when staff-assisted booking is least available.
The enrollment experience needs to work even when a family is browsing outside the operating week.
Plus the value of after-hours journeys that never make it back to the front desk.
Data should trigger the next best action—not sit in a report.
Swum can give Goldfish an AI-forward automation layer that identifies demand, reduces repetitive work, recommends follow-up, and helps teams act earlier. Goldfish defines the policies and approvals; the system handles the repeatable work and keeps learning from outcomes.
AI supports the next best action while Goldfish teams retain control of policy, approval, and customer judgment.
Understand search, availability, enrollment, waitlist, cancellation, and program behavior across locations.
Flag where a family needs help, a class can fill, a lead is cooling, or a location is missing demand.
Trigger approved reminders, follow-up, waitlist offers, re-enrollment prompts, and internal alerts.
Measure what converted and retained families, then use that evidence to improve global and local workflows.
White-labeling that feels completely Goldfish.
One proven platform. A family experience transformed around Goldfish colors, identity, language, and workflows.
