About Amy Krug
Amy Phillips is a patient, engaging and safety-focused swim instructor with over 10 years of experience teaching. Drawing from her background as an ocean rescue lifeguard and Class V river guide, Amy brings a deep understanding of water safety, risk management, and emergency response to every lesson. She specializes in helping swimmers of all ages and skill levels build confidence, refine technique, and develop a lifelong respect and love for the water. With a strong foundation in education, including 12 years of classroom teaching and experience as a Montessori educator, Amy excels at adapting instruction to meet individual needs. Her engaging, supportive approach creates a positive learning environment where swimmers feel safe, motivated, and empowered to progress at their own pace.
