I'm Megan Gines 💖 — swim instructor, water safety advocate, and founder of Blue Horizon Swim Academy with over 10 years in the water.
My teaching style is rooted in patience, compassion, and genuine joy. I meet every swimmer exactly where they are — from a 3-month-old getting comfortable with water on their face for the first time, to an adult finally conquering a lifelong fear.
Every student matters to me personally. I don't rush. I celebrate every milestone, big and small. Outside the pool I'm a wife, a mom, and someone who loves building community. I'm currently pursuing my Swim Angelfish certification to better serve swimmers with special needs — a population I'm deeply passionate about.
