About Carly Peterson
Hi! Welcome to my swim school! I have been around the sport of swimming for a long time! I grew up starting swim team at age 9 in American Fork, Utah. I swam with Hilltop Aquatics Swim Team. I competed state wide, nationally and internationally in many meets and in places including Puerto Rico and Moscow, Russia. I swam for 4 years at Brigham Young University and during that time, we were 3 time Mountain West Conference champions. After swimming in college, I started coaching for my club team in Utah. I then coached for Lehi Aquatics in Utah for 4 years. My husband got a job in Arizona we moved to the valley of the sun! I started coaching for Mesa Aquatics Club and I am currently the Head coach for Queen Creek High School. I have taught many swimmers of all levels including adults to be proficient in the water. I have taught lifeguard classes and WSI classes as well. I am currently CPR/First Aid/Lifeguard certified. I also am a member of USA masters swimming and USA swimming. I am a current triathlete as well with many races and experiences including 3x full Ironman finisher and Kona World Championship finisher. If you are looking for a triathlon coach/swim coach, I am willing to do that as well! I'm excited to teach/coach you and hope your experience with the water has been as amazing as mine!
