Bryce Bohman

Coach Bryce is entering his fifth year with NCAP West as the Gold 2 and Silver Coach, bringing over 25 years of swimming experience as both an athlete and coach at all levels. This season, Bryce has successfully guided NCAP athletes to qualify for prestigious meets including Futures, NCSA, and Sectionals, while developing swimmers to win high school, senior and age group championships. Before joining NCAP, Bryce served four seasons as Lead Senior Coach at Longhorn Aquatics in Austin, Texas, where he helped develop Olympic Trial qualifiers, Junior National Champions, and TAGS qualifiers. He began his coaching career as Assistant Senior Coach at Club Mountaineer Aquatics and holds a Master’s Degree in Athletic Coaching Education from West Virginia University.

Originally from Moline, Illinois, Bryce started swimming at age seven. He was a three-time NJCAA Champion and National Record Holder at Lincoln College before transferring to West Virginia University. At WVU, he qualified for the 2012 Olympic Trials, earned two NCAA All-American honors placing fifth in both the 100 and 200 Backstroke his senior year, and was crowned Big 12 Conference Champion and named 2014 Big 12 Swimmer of the Year. Post-college, Bryce continued to excel, qualifying for the 2016 and 2021 Olympic Trials and becoming a multi-time National Finalist.

Bryce resides in Bristow, Virginia, with his wife Lia, son's Brett and Brody, and their dog, Ruby.
