About Becca Mcamis
I’m Becca! I’m a certified survival swim instructor with over a decade of experience teaching in the classroom. My passion for swim instruction began when my son took survival swim lessons while we were living in Hawaii. Watching him go through that experience was life-changing—not just for him, but for me. He later used those skills in a real-life situation and was able to save himself. In that moment, I knew this was what I wanted to do.<br><br>Now I get to help other families feel the same peace of mind. I specialize in survival swimming for little ones and also offer lessons for older kids and adults. My background in education allows me to tailor each lesson with patience, encouragement, and a focus on long-term success.<br><br>I know what it’s like to be the parent watching nervously from the sidelines—I’ve been there. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where swimmers build confidence, conquer fear, and gain skills that last a lifetime. It’s a privilege to be part of that journey for so many families.
